Jun. 8th, 2007 07:16 pm My weirdness level! So, pixzzzart, your LiveJournal reveals...

You are... 22% unique (blame, for example, your interest in photography in sunlight) and 44% herdlike (partly because you, like everyone else, enjoy writing). When it comes to friends you are normal. In terms of the way you relate to people, you are keen to please. Your writing style (based on a recent public entry) is intellectual.
Your overall weirdness is: 30(The average level of weirdness is: 27. You are weirder than 67% of other LJers.)

| May. 27th, 2007 06:19 am Eat My Shirt - Edible Art Boxed Chocolate Shirt Taking refuge from the dreary task of waiting for my car to be repaired, I called in to the deli opposite the garage. La Bottega Del Pane is a small Italian deli with a beautiful selection of handmade chocolate light bulbs, spanners, batteries and nuts and bolts!
The owner crafts these amazing edible treats by hand. I say edible but I wouldn't want to eat them - they look too good to eat. I'd want to keep them to pass down the generations like the family who preserved a hot cross bun made by the family baker in the early 19th Century.
Unfortunately, La Bottega doesn't have a website and I didn't have my digital camera to hand. I took a photo with my mobile camera of the boxed chocolate shirt on the counter. Sadly, it doesn't show the detail that went in to this life-size edible work of art - a studded collar, folds and even a matching tie.
Pure chocolart!

This is John's gallery guide of his cow paintings in the Brighton artist lead Gallery called Two Kats And A Cow. If I could buy an original painting, it would be one of his. Leave a comment | |

| Apr. 24th, 2007 08:00 pm Words And Pix I've been looking for a good site to assemble my photos and titles. I don't have Photoshop, so this is my first experiment with Photobucket. It's by far the best photo host I've worked with so far. I've taken hundreds of photos over the last two years. Finally, I can play with them.

| Apr. 12th, 2007 02:12 pm London - Where The Wild Things Art I Photo Sue Eves
How about this for a scale up? Grafitti artists in Leigham Court Rd, London SW16 painted this from Maurice Sendak's Where The Wild Things Are. It's pretty close to the original and instantly recognisable. The Wild Thing's leg is slightly extended to fit around the corner of the wall and is missing a few teeth - but that's big kids' art!
