Boxed Chocolate Shirt Taking refuge from the dreary task of waiting for my car to be repaired, I called in to the deli opposite the garage. La Bottega Del Pane is a small Italian deli with a beautiful selection of handmade chocolate light bulbs, spanners, batteries and nuts and bolts!
The owner crafts these amazing edible treats by hand. I say edible but I wouldn't want to eat them - they look too good to eat. I'd want to keep them to pass down the generations like the family who preserved a hot cross bun made by the family baker in the early 19th Century.
Unfortunately, La Bottega doesn't have a website and I didn't have my digital camera to hand. I took a photo with my mobile camera of the boxed chocolate shirt on the counter. Sadly, it doesn't show the detail that went in to this life-size edible work of art - a studded collar, folds and even a matching tie.
Pure chocolart!
